If you wish to transfer a chat to your supervisor, or to another agent whom you know by name, you can use the "Transfer Chat" control located at the bottom of the Live Assist panel. This will launch the "Simple Transfer" widget, which will prompt you to begin typing another agent's name. Any agent whose name matches the search, and is available to receive chat transfers, will appear in the result list below.
Clicking on another agent's name will disengage the transferring agent, and cause the chat to appear in the other agent's queue. When the other agent grabs the chat, he will see all the context associated with the conversation, including any messages that have been exchanged thus far.
