Summary: Customers may have experienced a minor temporary disruption of service due to an outage in Microsoft's Azure West US 2 region. On going service was unaffected as the resilient CaféX Live Assist for 365 service switched all traffic to another data centre. Some customers may have experienced an increase in latency with co-browse, all other services were unaffected.
RCA: The service disruption was caused by an infrastructure outage in Microsoft's Azure West US 2 region.
Mitigation: The CaféX Live Assist for 365 resilient dual data centre architecture automatically detected the outage and switched all traffic to the second data centre. The CaféX operations team were alerted, updated status.liveassistfro365.com and monitored the situation during the outage. The service was restored when the Azure West US 2 region was restored to full service.
Next steps: No further action is required.
