Every chat conversation that takes place is represented in Dynamics 365 as a Chat Activity Record. You can view the activity record associated with a chat by clicking on the "View Chat Activity" icon at the bottom of the Live Assist widget.
This will cause the activity record to appear in the main panel, as illustrated below.
