After a chat ends, you can view the chat transcript in the Agent Widget. Closed Chats remain in local storage for 24 hours. As such, chat history is not available on different browsers or on separate machines. In the Agent Widget, you can review the last 50 Closed Chats. If you must review older chats, see the Chat Activity record in the CRM.
If agents share a machine, they share the same local storage so it is necessary to clear the local cache when switching between users.
A browser in incognito mode, does not store Closed Chats after the browser closes.
As an Agent, to review your chat history:
- Open your agent widget.
- Click the Chats button
- Click on the down-arrow next to Closed Chats
- Click a chat to review the chat transcript
