We are able to apply rules for PCI Data Masking, but you will have to Contact Support to set up the appropriate rules for your business needs. The rules you provide will be used by us to construct an expression (a regular expression) to match what needs to be masked.
This solution applies for web chats: Desktop, mobile and tablet web.
The data is masked after the visitor sends the message/clicks enter.
During chat, when the visitor sends the agent a message, the message is screened, and if the
pattern is matched, the data is replaced by ***.
The data is displayed as masked in the following areas:

The visitor chat log

The agent chat log

The database
-
The chat transcript

The transcript visitors may send themselves by email
To enable PCI Data Masking, you will need to provide:

A brief description of what needs to be masked.

A suitable and representative set of sample data (no more than 10 examples) of data that needs to be masked.

A set of (no more than 3) rules to match against.

If possible: any Regular Expressions you may have already constructed.
Once received, our team will work with you to build a suitable regular-expression, that you will be responsible for testing. Then on your direction, we will apply the PCI masking expression to your account.
