The Unified Service Desk (USD) can alert you to new conversations or messages, even if you are using a different application. These can come in the form of a pop-up notification or an audio alert.
Consider the following example. In the image below, and agent is browsing a Knowledge Base article. Notice how the new message pop-up notification has appeared.
You can also set up audio notifications if you prefer.
To turn on notifications, click on the settings icon in the agent widget. Then choose the notification options you prefer.
If you have automated chat distribution (ACD) set to auto-accept, you will still get notifications based on your settings.
