Unified Interface (current package)
The current Live Assist USD package has been developed to prevent any configuration clashes. Only custom components have been added to this package, without any relationships with external ones, for example Contact, Case, and KB Searches.
This allows any organization to install the Live Assist for Microsoft Dynamics 365 USD package knowing that it does not clash with or override any existing configuration.
WebClient (legacy)
Live Assist USD components are intended to be overlaid on existing USD configurations. The chat configuration itself is built based on Microsoft's WebClient sample package, and includes dependencies on base Hosted Controls, for example Contact, Case, and KB Searches.
This provides a solution with all the necessary tools to run Live Assist for Microsoft Dynamics 365 in USD automatically, with minimal extra configuration needed, and in most cases no extra configuration.
