Does the agent widget keep logging out on you? Here are a few possible causes.
User Activity or Browsing
You can only be logged in to one client or browser at a time. If you open any of the following, it will log you out of any of the others.
- Dynamics 365 Web Client
- The Engagement Portal
- Unified Service Desk
Therefore, opening any other sessions of dynamics will log you out of the agent widget on the current session.
Timeout Configuration in the Engagement Portal
Inside the engagement portal there is a setting that controls time out. Please leave this set to 8 hours as we have an automatic keep-alive mechanism to ensure agent remain logged in. If it has been changed, it can result in the agent widget logging out unexpectedly.
To find this setting, go to Manage -> Users & Skills.
